The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) unveiled the new logo of the Qatari Product.

The Ministry stated, in a video broadcast on its official account on Twitter last Tuesday, that there are six requirements for using the new logo, namely:

1- All manufacturers and producers as well as sales outlets who have obtained necessary approvals and official licenses are allowed to use the logo.
2- The logo can be placed on advertising publications and materials.
3- The logo can be used on all locally manufactured and semi-manufactured products.
4- The logo can be applied on the front cover of the product's packaging or any other side that is clearly visible to the consumer but should not be placed under the product.
5-  Adherence to the design guidelines is mandatory and changing the shape or content of the logo is not permitted.
6-  Logo stickers can be placed on shipping and distribution vehicles and must be designed to be proportional to the vehicle's size.

The ministry indicated that the grace period for replacing the current logo with the new logo is within 6 months from the date of the circular, and all manufacturers, producers and outlets must adhere to this.
