The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has recently launched the new package of electronic supply services, within the framework of the Ministry's efforts toward achieving digital transformation, developing the level of government services provided, and expanding them in a way that contributes to achieving excellence in the performance and speed of completion of transactions. This also includes developing excellent services provided to the beneficiaries among citizens, and these services contribute to simplifying and facilitating procedures for them and providing quality services for them, something which makes it unnecessary for them to attend personally, visit service centers and save them time and effort.
Mr. Mubarak Khalifa Al Mohannadi, assistant director of the Department of Supply and Strategic Inventory at the MOCI, emphasized the importance of this new step in the path of completing the digital transformation of the MOCI's services. Mr. Al Mohannadi added that this step comes within the framework of the wise leadership's directives to develop the electronic infrastructure for all government agencies, and to make optimal use of digital technology.
The package of the new electronic services launched and added to the supply service program includes nine new services divided into three categories, namely issuance services, amendment and update services, and distributors' services.
