HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the Cabinet’s regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan yesterday’s noon.

HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie presented a review on the detailed plan pertaining to the strategy of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME). This is based on the directives of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior about providing the Council of Ministers with plans related to the competencies of ministries and other government agencies, public bodies and institutions. This includes all implementation programs and projects, the specified timetable for completion as well as standards and indicators for measuring performance progress in line with the comprehensive development vision, Qatar National Vision 2030, in addition to highlighting any partnership projects between the public and private sectors, if any.

A comprehensive review of the MME's current strategy was undertaken in the first quarter of 2020 in accordance with the directives of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The priorities, initiatives, key performance indicators and targets have been updated according to the review results and specific improvements.
