The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has launched the new service Tawasol to allow public members to deliver their requests and documents online when applying for a number of limited, exceptional, and special services that require personal attendance at the Ministry's service centers.

This service was launched in line with the state's policy to implement all precautionary measures to prevent and limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in order to protect the health and safety of all members of society.

The Assistant Undersecretary of Joint Service Affairs at MME, Mr. Hamad Khalifa Al Khalifa, said that the new service has a number of important features and benefits, including that it works through an electronic platform that can be run on office devices, smart phones and tablets, as well as on the Ministry's application Oun. He noted that this service does not require special settings on the devices, but can be run through a web browser by the applicant and the specialized personnel to implement its procedures, as well as its high security.
