The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on joint cooperation between the two parties towards system integration and support for the digital transformation of government services.

The signing ceremony at MME headquarters was attended by HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Minister of Municipality and Environment and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and Engineer Issa bin Hilal Al Kuwari, President of KAHRAMAA. The MoU was signed by Eng. Sulaiman Saeed Abdullah, Director of Planning and Quality Department at MME, and Eng. Yousef Ahmed Al Jaidah, Director of Planning and Quality Department at KAHRAMAA.

Engineer Suleiman Saeed Abdullah said that KAHRAMAA is an important and strategic partner for MME. He added that the MoU will have a significant impact on strengthening partnership to achieve the aspirations and joint efforts of both parties to activate e-linking and government system integration, and support digital transformation of government services to raise institutional efficiency in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
