Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on co-operation in the field of adaptation to climate change and green growth at the GGGI headquarters in Seoul, Republic of Korea in the presence of HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie and GGGI's President Ban Ki-moon.

During the visit, HE the Minister held a series of meetings, which began with his meeting with Ban Ki-moon, in the context of strengthening Qatar's regional and international efforts in climate change and sustainable development.
