HE Ms. Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, stressed the importance of "instilling and consolidating the national identity" in the minds of students, noting the need to "establish policies to protect the identity of young people from cultural alienation", and focus on "developing twenty-first century skills for our students intellectually and professionally".

This came during the participation of HE the Minister in the discussion session held by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, as part of the Education City lecture series "Bel Arabi". The discussion was held in cooperation with Ministry of Education and Higher Education, under the theme: "Investing in Qatar Future: Shaping Leaders Through Education".

During the session, held in Arabic and hosted by Qatar National Library, HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education announced the launch of a new initiative, which is still in its early stages, entitled "My Skills, My Future", which aims to support students to develop their life skills, communication skills and technological skills.
