HE Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, has issued a ministerial decision on conditions and controls for equating the 12th-grade certificate for private schools, and the equivalence of certificates for students transferred from outside the State of Qatar, whether from government or private schools.

The decision includes conditions and controls for equating private high school diplomas that apply the British curriculum, the international baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, and the French curriculum (the French baccalaureate diploma).

The decision also included obliging private schools to obtain accreditation and supervision of organizations and international examination boards regarding the twelfth-grade examinations and this is regarded as an essential condition in equating 12th-grade certificates.
