About

Eng. Mashael Al Hammadi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Information Technology Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, said that more than a thousand e-services have been launched by various government entities, since the beginning of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), expecting an increase in the coming days.

Al Hammadi explained that many e-services have been launched by government entities under the umbrella of Qatar Digital Government (QDG), as there are many joint government services.

She pointed out that the services can be divided into two parts: joint services in infrastructure such as government network center, government data center, government communication center and government data exchange platform, and joint electronic application services such as SMS text message, government correspondence platform, e-authentication portal, authentication of government documents portal, and a platform to pay fees and other services.
