About

Mashael Al Hammadi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Information Technology Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, said that the ministry has adopted a plan for digital transformation of government entities to enable them to adopt modern technology in managing their operations and providing their digital services.

She explained that to achieve this trend, the Ministry has provided the necessary software for international companies to government entities through several framework agreements. This software provides many opportunities for interaction and cooperation between employees of one government entity as well as between multiple government entities.

To ensure the use of this software in government entities, Ms. Mashael Al Hammadi said that the ministry adopted an activation and operation plan that included preparing the necessary infrastructure in the authorities, and linking them to joint government services provided by the ministry and available to all government entities in the country, such as government correspondence, and National Authentication System that facilitates e-services entry in the country for all entities, and other common services, as well as linking them with the cloud computing services needed to ensure the availability and security of services.
