About

HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan yesterday's noon.

During the Cabinet's regular meeting, HE Mr. Yousuf bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo, Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs presented the strategic plan of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA). This comes within the framework of the instructions of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior about briefing the Cabinet on the plans related to the jurisdictions of ministries, other governmental bodies and public organizations and authorities. This includes all programs, operational projects and specific timetables for achievement as well as standards and indicators measuring performance progress, and in conformity with the comprehensive development vision "the Qatar National Vision 2030" (QNV2030), including partnership projects between the public and private sectors, if found.

Under the plan, the Ministry seeks to upgrade the government performance, control and activate and develop the labor market performance, and ensure the well-being and stability of society in order to realize the QNV2030. This comes by overseeing the implementation of the legislations regulating the Ministry's work areas and implementing international standards in the areas of administrative development, labor and social affairs. This is by using the best techniques and professional expertise, in collaboration with government agencies, professional associations, and regional and international organizations and institutions operating in this field.
