The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has issued a guide including comprehensive information for individuals and companies on issuing work permit by using digital alternatives in an integrated way at all stages of the procedure, without the need to visit the government services centers. The procedure includes any applicant who is not under the sponsorship of the employer and wants to contract with it. This requires submitting the application for ordinary and major professions and submitting the application with the supporting documents particularly for sub-professions.

In order to complete this service, the identity of the establishment's official must be verified to access the service through OTP system. Moreover, there must be a valid bank payment card to pay the fees through the payment option linked to Qatar E-Government Portal - Hukoomi. In addition, the registration of application data related for the applicant, worker must be completed.

The application with the required attachments must be sent to the Ministry for conformity, review, the criminal evidence letter for the private companies must be printed, and a certificate of good conduct and behavior must be attached when available. Moreover, the fees through the electronic payment portal after the approval must be paid. In addition, a copy of the attested contract must be attached to complete the issuance of the permit, and the permit must be printed via the Ministry's website. You can also visit the nearest service complex to receive the employment card.
