The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA), represented by the Institute of Public Administration, started yesterday a training program on the fundamentals of internal auditing, in collaboration with the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at Qatar University (QU).

The training program, which includes specialists in the field of internal auditing from various government agencies, aims to qualify Qatari employees in order to be able to perform internal audit tasks very professionally. The program deals with the understanding and application of the basic principles of the internal audit process in government entities in accordance with practical experience and order to comply with the legislations in force in the State of Qatar.

The program has a duration of (60) training hours that are implemented during three weeks. It includes the basics of internal auditing, the knowledge concepts of internal auditing and professional ethics, the technical standards of internal auditing and the definition of audit and control institutions in Qatar.
