The mobile phone application of the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" - Employee Section has been ranked first in Category "C7. ICT applications: benefits in all aspects of life; E-Employment", within the World Summit on the Information Society Prizes 2021 (WSIS2021).

This contest, according to the website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, is regarded as the unique global platform to identify and display success stories in the implementation of the WSIS 18 Action Lines and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It is stated that the WSIS Prizes contest is open for all stakeholders: Governments, businesses, civil society, international organizations, academic institutions and others.
