The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) officially inaugurated the Host Country Media Center (HCMC) in the city of Msheireb, the heart of Doha. The Center provides services and facilities to thousands of media representatives, to cover the activities of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, which kicks off next Sunday, with the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium.

HCMC provides everything media professionals need to perform their duties throughout the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, as it includes many facilities, including a hall for press conferences, studios, and work offices, in addition to technical support and services that meet the needs of photographers, and a media hall that can accommodate 100 people, and a restaurant that serves a variety of meals from the W Hotel Doha.

Ms. Fatma Al Nuaimi, SCs Communications & Media Executive Director, expressed her happiness at the opening of the center, welcoming media representatives from different countries of the world who seek to cover the competitions and events of the tournament, which is being held for the first time in the Arab world and the Middle East.
