HMC Wins Top Arab Award

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has won the prestigious "Elite" Hospital Award granted by the Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) as part of its Gold Initiative launched by AHF, in recognition of the efforts of healthcare providers in the region during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The award comes in recognition of the exceptional efforts made by the HMC in response to the pandemic under five categories: Regulatory staff in the government sector; leadership and administrative governance; safety of healthcare staff and cadres, patients and visitors; the public awareness; and research and development. 

Mr. Ali Al Janahi, chief of Tertiary Hospitals Group affiliated with the HMC, has said that the HMC winning this prestigious award is a testimony of the effective and vital role that is played by the HMC in the comprehensive strategy adopted by the State of Qatar in combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
