HMC, Qatar Pharma Sign Framework Contract Agreement for Supply of Medicines and Medical Supplies

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Qatar Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries signed a three-year framework contract agreement for the supply of medicines and medical supplies.
This agreement comes within the framework of the joint efforts of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Hamad Medical Corporation to support national industries and to underscore the ability of local products to ensure Qatar’s self-sufficiency.
Commenting on signing the agreement, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Hassan Al Malki, Assistant Undersecretary for Industry Affairs, stressed that this cooperation came within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts aimed at supporting the role of national companies in achieving the State’s self-sufficiency in its various sectors, especially in the field of pharmaceutical industries, which represents one of the vital sectors at the national and international levels.
