HMC, PHCC Announce Changes in Procedures Related to Dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced important changes to their services, including changing the resources of the health care system in accordance with the standards for dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this context, HMC decided to adjust the visitor reception system in all its hospitals, as part of the standards followed to protect patients, visitors and health care personnel from the danger of the COVID-19 virus.

Now the visit policies will not allow visitors to enter any of the seven facilities dedicated to caring for COVID-19 cases, which are Al Wakra Hospital, Hazm Mebirek General Hospital, Communicable Diseases Center, The Cuban Hospital, Ras Laffan Hospital, Mesaieed Hospital and Specialized Surgery Center. All other non-COVID-19 facilities operate according to the visitor policy, which includes allowing public visits from 3 pm to 8 pm.
