Mr. Nasser Al Nuaimi, Deputy Chief Quality Officer at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Director of the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute (HHQI) and Head of the Call Center (16000), unveiled that the Call Center (16000) has contributed to delivering 860,000 medications via Qatar Post to patients in all areas of the State. This has happened particularly since the launch of the Call Center (16000), with the aim of curbing the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), particularly among categories of people who are exposed to the risk of symptoms when infected, such as the elderly, people suffering from chronic diseases and other categories, Mr. Al Nuaimi explained.
Mr. Al Nuaimi announced that the Call Center (16000) will add a call number within its options to answer public inquiries about the Medical Commission's services. He clarified that for a month and half, the Call Center has launched a call number for physiological health services that has received at least 15,000 calls and inquiries from the public. This is because the Call Center (16000) provides options for a caller according to the type of consultation that a caller wants, in an attempt to make it easy for the audience and save time and effort, as he said.
