Dr. Aisha Obeid, Assistant Director of Hamad Injury Prevention Program in Hamad Trauma Center affiliated with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), has disclosed making preparations for awareness programs related to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament to achieve security and safety on roads. She explained that these plans and programs are being studied and set in order to be ready and be implemented well ahead of the 2022 tournament, within the framework of a comprehensive national plan in this regard. 

She said that the focus would be on achieving security and safety on roads and in gatherings, since hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to be received, and therefore setting necessary plans to handle these gatherings is required.
