HH the Amir Patronizes Graduation Ceremony of Third Batch of Police College Students

Under his honorable patronage, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the third batch of candidate students of the Ministry of Interior (MOI)’s Police College at the Police Training Institute in the area of Al Sailiya yesterday, Saturday morning.

The graduation ceremony was attended by HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Minister of Interior of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman HE Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan HE Sameer Ibrahim Al Mobaideen. A number of their Excellencies ministers, heads of diplomatic missions, and high-ranking officers of the Ministry of Defense, MOI, Amiri Guard, State Security and Lekhwiya (Internal Security Force) also attended the graduation ceremony.

The national anthem was played at the outset of the ceremony. Then the commander of the graduates' queue came forward requesting HH the Amir to inspect the queue of the 112 graduates from the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Palestine and the Republic of Yemen.

During his speech delivered on this occasion, Director-General of the Police College Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Muhana Al Marri underlined the Police College's endeavors, through the continuous development of its academic and training programs, to achieve its mission of graduating highly-skilled police officers. This also includes enabling them to professionally implement security tasks, and to keep pace with today’s requirements in terms of behavior and performance, with determination and courage, while adhering to the Arab and Islamic traditions and values, and pride in belonging to the homeland and loyalty to HH the Amir, as he said. Brigadier Al Marri cited the saying of HH the Amir that “human development is one of the most important pillars of Qatar's vision.”
