HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment (SCEAI), chaired yesterday morning the council's second meeting in 2020 that was held by video conference.

HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Executive Member of the Council and other members of the council.

The council discussed topics on the meeting's agenda and took the appropriate measures regarding them. The council also reviewed a number of presentations made on a number of topics, including the economic repercussions of the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and ways to address and reduce its economic and financial effects, as well as the most important measures taken by the State and future steps in this regard.
