HE Prime Minister Instructs Applying Appropriate Solutions to Employ Qataris in Various Sectors

HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the regular meeting held yesterday's noon by the Cabinet at its headquarters in the Amiri Diwan. 

Then, the Cabinet reviewed topics on the agenda and among of them are as follows: 

- The Cabinet approved a draft law regulating the use of cash in transactions and referred it to the Shura Council. The draft law aims to limit the use of cash in some transactions, which exceed a certain amount, and to avoid risks related to dealing in some areas.

- The Cabinet approved a draft law on the protection of victims, witnesses, and other cooperating persons. The preparation of the draft law emphasizes the importance of providing the necessary protection to the groups covered by protection, and in fulfillment of the international agreements in this regard. The draft is based on a basic principle, which is that state guarantees the necessary protection for the protected persons and their relatives.

The Cabinet, through the presentation made by HE the President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, reviewed the monthly report on the employment of Qataris via Kawader National E-Recruitment Portal and its statistics on the number of job seekers, the number of jobs available on the platform, and those appointed in these jobs. HE the Prime Minister instructed that there be work on facing challenges and applying appropriate solutions to employ Qataris in various sectors via this portal.
