Ali Abdullah Al Khater, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Healthcare Communication at the Ministry of Public Health and Chief Communications Officer at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), confirmed that a website dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan was launched as an initiative to educate the public on ways to maintain health during the holy month. He also explained that an educational awareness mobile application related to health was launched under the name of “Qatar Health”.

Al Kahter said that this website is the first of its kind in Qatar that is specialized in providing health information during the holy month of Ramadan. It includes various health tips and instructions for all groups and ages, people with chronic diseases, pregnant and nursing mothers, as well as those with acute illnesses, in order to help them fast safely without any complications by reviewing the appropriate health instructions for each case.
