GCO: Qatar tourism sector has been growing during the first quarter of 2022

The Government Communications Office (GCO) has affirmed that the tourism sector in the State of Qatar is steadily growing after the easing of travel restrictions, according to the latest quarterly report issued by Qatar Tourism (QT), at a time when there are ongoing preparations to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.The GCO said, in a tweet via its official Twitter account, entitled "The most prominent achievements of the tourism sector in the State of Qatar during the first quarter of 2022": "The number of arrivals to the State of Qatar increased from 64 thousand in the first quarter of 2021 to 613,000 ( or 1.735%) during the same period in 2022."
