About

Government Communications Office (GCO) in the State of Qatar has launched a new feature in the free service to provide information on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) via WhatsApp application that was launched by the GCO on 6 April 2020. This is in order that it would be a main source providing accurate and reliable information about the Coronavirus.

The new feature, according to a tweet posted on the official Twitter account of GCO yesterday’s evening, enables users to share their questions that will contribute to updating the list of the most common questions.

In an explanatory video on the new feature, the GCO made clear that if a user is unable to find an answer on a certain question in the GCO service to provide information on the Coronavirus, the user could now send his question to the GCO service via WhatsApp application. The GCO added that it would answer the most repeated questions in the section of “answering the most common questions.” The GCO called for using the service regularly to obtain the most up to date information and the latest updates. The GCO reminds that the phone number of the information service about the Coronavirus is 0097460060601.
