The General Authority of Customs (GAC) has started working in the project of customs warehouses that is viewed as the most vital projects recently, because it will achieve multiple economic and security goals. Moreover, this project serves all categories associated with the Authority, including investors, businesses and individuals, and it reflects the optimal use of technology in the world of businesses nowadays.

GAC has set a uniform regulation for customs warehouses, completed the necessary infrastructure at a number of customs points and equipped warehouses with required equipment and devices that have been provided particularly for this project.

The system of customs warehouses is viewed as a real added value in the Authority's work. This is by the capability of running the lifecycle of items and goods at various customs points automatically, monitoring and tracking all items at warehouses around the clock, and using the systems of comprehensive electronic stocktaking and linking with the Al-Nadeeb system, the Oracle system and the warehouse item inventory. This also includes placing tracker stickers on them and setting the system of alerts and messages to stakeholders, and generating important and statistical reports instantly.
