The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs opened yesterday the interactive Islamic exhibition at the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque, as part of the Ministry's activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The exhibition seeks to introduce the mosque and the message of Islam and to convey its correct and tolerant image to non-Arabic speakers from visitors to the State of Qatar during the World Cup, especially speakers of English, French, and Spanish, where the exhibition will continue until December 31, 2022.
Dr. Saleh Ali Al Akhan , Director of the Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Center, and Head of the Ministry's Activities Team accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, said that the interactive Islamic exhibition is an introductory tour of the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque, through which the visitor learns about the mosque and its Islamic architecture, as well as some aspects of Islam and faith, and some historical mosques in the State of Qatar.
