The Center of Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan) is organizing a scientific research seminar today to discuss the issue of supporting digital inclusion for the elderly and care providers in Qatari and Arab families in collaboration with Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and Mada Assistive Technology Center Qatar. The seminar will include research papers for discussion presented by academia and professors specialized in this area. 

The research has conducted interviews with research participants among the elderly to measure the potential of information and communications technology (ICT) to support participation in daily activities and social inclusion for the elderly in the State of Qatar and the Arab world and identify obstacles and challenges that obstruct the elderly use of ICT. 

In this regard, Mr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al Khayarin, Executive Director of the Center of Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan), emphasized the importance of holding these seminars that highlight modern means that are of great importance in the lives of the elderly and that will change their lifestyle to be safe, stable, and productive.
