Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani, the official spokesman for the healthcare sector for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital, confirmed that visitors and guests of the State of Qatar do not need to download EHTERAZ application, and that the Coronavirus test will be cancelled before boarding the plane.
In addition, he highlighted that the Coronavirus test will be cancelled for citizens and residents of the country after their arrival in Qatar, pointing out that EHTERAZ application is required only when entering health facilities.
He declared the health sector's readiness to receive fans of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, stressing out that the sector gained multiple experiences through its participation in major sporting events, the most recent of which is the Arab Cup, in addition to the fact that the past 10 years have witnessed the opening of at least 10 hospitals and 16 health centers aimed at distributing health care services in the country.
