Dr. Yousuf Al Maslamani, Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital, has disclosed that incomers from countries categorized in the red list would be required to conduct two PCR tests before and after arrival into the State of Qatar. He explained that citizens and residents would not be required to conduct a PCR test before arrival. He pointed out that fully vaccinated persons currently are those who received the two doses of the vaccine, not three doses. 

Dr. Al Maslamani noted that the validity of the golden-colored code of EHTERAZ mobile app would be for 12 months and then a new decision would be made in this regard. 

He said that the Travel and Return Policy applied in the State of Qatar during the COVID-19 pandemic is among the most successful policies worldwide, which have led to reducing the transmission of infections from abroad and controlling infections within Qatar.
