The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) reviewed with industry leaders and decision-makers in key sectors the localization opportunities for the ICT value chain and the opportunities for growth of this sector to serve Qatar’s economy.

This came during a workshop titled "Localization of the ICT Value Chain" held by CRA as part of a large-scale strategic research study conducted by the authority with the aim of collecting data, setting measurements, and building visions for the communications and information technology sector in the State of Qatar.

The interactive workshop was attended by a number of local and international companies, leading startups in the ICT sector and other economic sectors, in addition to licensing platforms, government entities, and other representatives from the ICT ecosystem.
