Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has said that Google Cloud has joined the remote working initiative that has been recently launched by CRA, in collaboration with key players in the sector of communications and information technology in the State of Qatar.
The CRA initiative is taking a set of measures and providing offers and packages for technology services to help the population of the State of Qatar in working remotely from home easily and securely through the precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). CRA pointed out that Google Cloud will support businesses in the State of Qatar to work remotely from home easily and securely by offering them free access to a number of services and tools, including Google Meet’s advanced video conferencing for G Suite customers until 30 September 2020.
CRA President Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Mannai is pleased that Google Cloud has joined the initiative, something which supports the efforts that have been made by CRA’s other partners to contribute to curbing the spread of the Coronavirus. This is because communications and information technology are regarded as the ideal solution to reduce face-to-face meetings and facilitate the work remotely from home during this period.
Businesses in Qatar can submit their requests for these products and services by reaching out Google Cloud Head of Partners in Middle East and North Africa via this email address: omarselman@google.com or by contacting one of Google’s premier partners. Businesses can open the CRA’s website link to see the contact details.
