His Excellency Eng. Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari, President of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) confirmed that the Corporation has made great achievements in terms of digital transformation and maintaining excellence at the Arab and international levels.

During the opening discussion session of the Second World Congress for Engineering and Technology, which started yesterday, His Excellency said: "KAHRAMAA began years ago to provide all services to customers in an electronic way, and in this context, it also developed the smart meters system, as the installation rate reached about 70 percent. The project will be completed by the end of this year."

He pointed out that the biggest challenge for KAHRAMAA is to maintain this distinction, which it has reached. He added: "The Corporation has achieved the best rates of experience in electrical and water networks in the Arab world and is almost among the best ones worldwide. It has also maintained its excellence in customer service and strives to maintain these achievements."
