HE Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker confirmed that the selection of Doha as Arab Tourism Capital for 2023 recently by the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism represents a recognition that Doha is a truly remarkable city offering a spectacular tourism experience for all international travelers.
HE Al Baker said that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ tournament has allowed many to directly experience Qatar's warm hospitality and authentic culture and heritage.
HE added that there is more in store, as Qatar looks ahead to an exciting calendar of events in 2023, and further attractions and leisure destinations opening across the country in the new year.
