Government Communications Office (GCO) stated that in line with the first stage of the gradual lifting of restrictions imposed as a result of the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), a decision has been made to remove the requirement for entry and exit permits to and from the Industrial Area effective Monday, 15 June 2020.

GCO stated that the entry and exit checkpoints of the Industrial Area will remain to ensure compliance with precautionary measures, including reducing bus capacity to half, wearing masks, and verifying the health status color on EHTERAZ mobile app, so that green code holders only could enter the Area.

The statement emphasized that the easing of restrictions does not mean the virus has disappeared. All members of society should continue to take precautions and follow recommended guidelines to ensure the successful implementation of the gradual lifting of the restrictions imposed in the State of Qatar, with the aim of returning back to normal life.
