HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, chaired the cabinet regular meeting held yesterday afternoon through video conference.

At the beginning of the meeting, cabinet listened to the explanation made by HE the Minister of Public Health on the latest producers to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid 19), and the Council affirmed the continuation of the precautionary measures taken to combat this epidemic.

The cabinet decided to Extend its decisions issued regarding reducing the number of employees present at the workplace in government agencies, reducing the number of workers present at the workplace in the private sector, the working hours for employees and workers at their workplace in the government and private sectors will be six working hours per day, starting from 7am until 1pm, all meetings held for employees and workers in the government and private sectors located at their place of work (remotely) shall be made using modern technical means, suspending the temporary home services system provided by cleaning and hospitality companies. reducing the number of workers who are transported by buses to half the capacity of the bus, taking into account the taking of precautionary measures.

Also, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to keep intensify inspection procedures on food outlets and restaurants to ensure that they comply with health requirements and preventive and precautionary measures, including leaving the safe distance between customers.
