The decisions of the esteemed Cabinet regarding the work system at government entities during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the details of the work system related to educational institutions, in addition to the special arrangements for Doha Corniche while hosting the events accompanying the World Cup Tournament will come into effect today until Monday, December 19, 2022. 

With regards to government entities, according to the decision of the esteemed Cabinet, the number of staffs present at workplaces inside government entities shall be reduced to 20% out of total number of staffs for each entity, while 80% of staffs will work remotely. The working hours under the new system will be from 7 am until 11 am.  Military, security, health, and educational sectors shall be exempted from these decisions, while emphasizing that the critical sectors of the State shall not be affected by these decisions. 

As of today, Doha Corniche shall be designated for pedestrians in order to ensure monitoring the progress of the events accompanying the World Cup Tournament since the Ministry of Interior announced yesterday special procedures on regulating movement during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
