Awqaf to Reopen 299 Mosques for Worshipers

The Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) in Qatar will reopen around 299 additional mosques adding to the previously announced list of 500 mosques, as part of the second phase of opening mosques, so that the total number of re-opened mosques is 799 mosques across the country.

The Ministry said that following the procedures of second phase for reopening mosques starting from Fajr prayer of Wednesday, July 1, 2020, it would like to announce the mosques added to the previously announced list, following the same preventive and precautionary measures which are in place to curb the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
