The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf), as represented by the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, has launched the second version of Quranic course "Taahod," through the distance-learning platform of the Ministry.
The Quranic course will provide an opportunity for the program participants including adults and children, to memorize, review and recite the Holy Quran, and learn the provisions of intonation with application and the correct method of spelling the words of the Holy Quran from the book of spelling lessons approved in the Department. The course, which is organized and supervised by the section of the Holy Quran and its Sciences at the Department, will continue until 31 December 2020.
Mr. Malallah Abdulrahman Al Jaber, Director of the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, has said that what distinguishes the second version of the Quranic course "Taahod" for adults and children is the addition of a new branch that is specialized in teaching the Holy Quran course from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education curricula for all school levels (primary, preparatory, and secondary).
