The Digital Incubation Center (DIC), affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), concluded its participation in the LEAP 23 International Technical Conference held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between Feb.6 to Feb.9, 2023. During the participation, the Digital Incubation Center cooperated with more than 99 entities, as well as accessed 14 new ideas for entrepreneurs interested in investing in the Qatari market and met with 8 potential mentors and 4 potential technology partners.

During the conference, DIC held discussions with 10 regional digital incubations aimed at achieving partnerships with regional entities and exchanging projects of mutual interest. It was also agreed to facilitate procedures for Qatari entrepreneurs to enter the Saudi market through the partnership with the Digital Incubation Center.

The startups incubated by the DIC participating in the conference met with 650 conference visitors and 70 investors during their presence at the conference activities, where the incubated entrepreneurs were acquainted with 80 potential investment opportunities. The entrepreneurs incubated in the DIC also attended more than 44 discussion sessions on topics of mutual interest.

The second edition of the LEAP 23 Conference, which concluded on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in Saudi Arabia, featured seminars and discussions on the digital economy, smart cities, clean technologies and other technical topics. Creators and innovators also had the opportunity to invest their ideas in creating technical products, services and solutions to share them with global partnerships and stakeholders.
