The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) announced that the land transport sector had completed 2177 service transactions during the first quarter of this year, including 1394 transactions for transportation activities, 561 transactions for limousine activities, and 222 transactions for car rental activities (with or without a driver). This comes as MOTC continues to do its vital role in developing effective and sustainable plans for the various activities of the land transport sector in the country.
According to statistics published by the Ministry yesterday, these transactions included the most prominent services provided by land transport department, foremost of which is the issuance of initial approvals for the issuance of commercial registry, issuance of commercial licenses, adding activity to commercial registries, amending data of registries and licenses, and adding a branch for commercial registry.
The statistics also included the implementation of 737 transactions for the issuance and renewal of commercial registries, 602 transactions for the issuance and renewal of commercial licenses, 49 transactions for adding activity for commercial registries, 4 transactions for amending registries and licenses data, and 2 transactions for adding a branch for commercial registries.
