About

72% of government services provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) are online services that benefit the business sector, individuals and visitors of the State of Qatar. This comes following a huge development witnessed by the Ministry in the transportation sector and communications and IT sector, and the Ministry's constantly keeping pace with the technological development in government services. This also includes implementing Qatar e-Government programs and overseeing them, until reaching the goal of building the knowledge community based on the digital economy.

According to Qatar Official e-Government Portal "Hukoomi," the total number of the services provided by MOTC has reached 78 services, including 56 online services, 20 offline series and two information services. The business and finance sector uses 71 services among these services, and the government sector uses 35 services, in addition to 28 services that are used by the public including individuals. Therefore, this emphasizes that the community individuals and economic institutions increasingly depend on the development of the transportation and communications services in order to meet the requirements of transportation, mobility and communications in various domains of life related to services.
