Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced that it will strengthen telemedicine and virtual healthcare services as of November 1, 2022, because of the State of Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

PHCC stated that its affiliated centers would apply the system of virtual consultations (70%), and face-to-face consultations (30%) through visiting any health center.

PHCC added that emergency services will be available starting the above-mentioned period, and walk-in services would also be available for family medicine, pediatric, dental procedures, ENT, dermatology, cancer screenings, and ophthalmology.

Patients can continue to book consultations and appointments through the Community Call Center on 16000, whereas the COVID-19 appointment booking hotline will operate only on 40277077.
