The Qatar Fintech Hub (QFTH), co-founded by Qatar Development Bank (QDB), has announced fintechs selected to join Wave 2 of Fintech Incubator and Accelerator Programs, which actually started on 24 March and will continue until June 2021.
QFTH has received above 500 applications from mature fintechs from above 58 countries worldwide. Following a thorough and precise evaluation process, the applications have been shortlisted to 40 companies that presented their ideas and solutions via virtual pitch days. The panel of judges included a group of entities and QFTH stakeholders and strategic partners. Among these companies, 22 companies have successfully joined Wave 2 of Fintech Incubator and Accelerator Programs.
Selected fintechs discussed a variety of fields including technology solutions such as AI (artificial intelligence), ML (machine language), blockchain, RPA (robotic process automation), NFC (near field communication), NLP (natural language processing), OCR (optical character recognition) and other fintech solutions.
