HE Attorney-General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri and HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari inaugurated yesterday the "Commerce and Consumer Affairs Prosecution" at the Public Prosecution headquarters on the Doha Corniche.

On this occasion, HE Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, Attorney-General, stated that establishing specialized prosecution offices such as "health" and "commerce and consumer affairs" greatly contributes to creating specialized cadres in such cases that are considered special in dealing with them. Moreover, those cases could not be subjected to the normal daily cases.

For his part, HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari stressed the importance of this prosecution in supporting the investment environment, businessmen and companies. He pointed out that this is regarded as the fruit of permanent and continuous cooperation between the Ministry and the Public Prosecution, especially in qualifying and training the Ministry's employees who have the right to judicial control.
