If you are planning to attend live matches in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, the following guiding steps should help you understand the full application process.

International Fans

1- Create Hayya account which you will need to use for:

- Applying for Hayya Card, a personalized document that acts as the entry permit for international fans intending to enter Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

- Following up on approvals.

- Applying for a Matchday Visit, in case you wish to come only for 24 hours and leave the country.

NOTE:

- You do not need to create Hayya accounts for your dependents below 18 years old. However, you need to apply for Hayya cards on their behalf through your own account.
- Before Friday, December 2, 2022, individuals could have come to the State of Qatar without tickets only if they were invited by Hayya Card holders. Starting Friday, December 2, 2022, entry to the State of Qatar doesn't require having match tickets for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, and fans without tickets can enter Qatar by using Hayya Card.

2- Apply for Hayya Card

After you have created your account, apply for Hayya Card by filling out the required information. 

Now, since you have applied for Hayya Card, your application will be pending approval and your request status will be displayed as per the picture below:

3- Book your accommodation

There are two ways for getting an accommodation in Qatar. Either you book your accommodation through Qatar’s Official Accommodation Agency, or you ask one of your friends or family members who are residing in Qatar to host you in their place.

Either way you choose, the Hayya Card approval is conditioned by securing an accommodation. Therefore, if your application is approved, but you still do not have a booked accommodation/invitation, your application will be shown as below:

Accordingly, after receiving your Hayya Card approval and booking an accommodation or receiving an invitation from a family member or a friend, you will be done with the approval process, and the status will be displayed as below:

Daytrip Fans

If you are planning to come to Qatar only for one important match, you can do so! You can visit Qatar only for 24 hours to watch your match and leave the same day, and in this case, you do not need an accommodation. All you have to do is create Hayya account and apply for Hayya Card. Later, you can go to "Visit on Match Day" and add your information for arrival and departure flights. (Check Qatar Airways Matchday Shuttle).

Citizens and Residents

If you are planning to attend the live matches in stadiums, you need to follow the below steps:

1- Create Hayya account which you will need to use for:

- Applying for Hayya Card.
- Following up on approvals.
- Hosting a family member or friend not residing in Qatar.

2- Apply for Hayya Card

After you have created your account, apply for Hayya Card by filling out the required information. You will be done with the process when you get the three green checkmarks .

In case you are not planning to attend live matches and you only want to host a family member or friend in your place, you just need to:

1- Create Hayya account.

2- Go to “Hayya Alternative Accommodation” and add your property, then add the information of the person you would like to host.
