The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is organizing a workshop titled "Digital Government Transformation of the State of Qatar", as part of its participation in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS Prizes 2022) affiliated with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The main objectives of this workshop are to form a vision around the digital transformation projects in Qatar and to explore the future of smart Qatar (TASMU).

The workshop will present challenges and achievements in infrastructure, applications, and e-services, as well as highlight the essential role of technology in organizing the Qatar World Cup 2022. Specialists and speakers from Qatar will be participating in this workshop.

The workshop will take place from (9:00 am to 10:45 am, Geneva local time) at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) tower in Geneva, Switzerland.
