The success of the smart nation depends on interoperability, achieved through using easily compatible technologies and following ecosystem rules, and the TASMU Interoperability Policy has been developed in order to get the most out of smart city suppliers, to remove the risk of silos and fragmentation, and to safeguard the sustainable evolution and expansion of TASMU Ecosystem.

To ensure the efficiency and sustainable evolution of TASMU Ecosystem, the TASMU Interoperability Policy provides overarching semantic and technical controls, as well as recommendations on organizational interoperability. Specifically, it includes controls covering Internet of Things which have particular applicability.

This policy is regulated by the TASMU Smart Nation Regulator.
